Five Questions with Level7

Thursday, August 23

Here at NEOSA, we’re blessed with a diverse mix of members, from pure software developers to managed services providers to web companies to proprietary software companies and more. Rarely though, do we see a company cut across as wide a set of services as member Level7. They’ll provide strategy assistance, interactive marketing, software development, staff augmentation and more.

NEOSA: What’s the core philosophy behind Level7?

Level7: We believe technologies have matured in the last decades that have significantly changed the relationship between the technical, operational, and creative components of the business enterprise. We’ve constructed a consultancy designed to help companies leverage these technologies to further their individual business interests.

NEOSA: What kind of Consultancy?

Level7: We’ve combined the offerings of a full service information technology consulting firm with the offerings of a full service interactive marketing agency. This combination allows us to offer end to end solutions to our customers from the creative through the build to the implementation/ support.

NEOSA: What are some of the technical challenges you’ve helped customers meet?

Level7: Mobile and Big Data have been the recent hot buttons for customers; I’m sure you’re not surprised by that! We’ve rolled out mobile solutions for field services workers that utilize cross platform interfaces to interact with multiple mobile devices simultaneously and we’re working on a Hadoop implementation to compare huge amounts of digital images data to prevent fraud.

NEOSA: Level7 also offers pretty extensive marketing services. What are some challenges there in which you’re helping clients?

Level7: Recently, we’ve been developing web portals for clients. We’ve helped a number of customers seeking to build third and further generation web portals that drive sales leads and provide deeper customer service. Portals have been done in B2C sites for years but now we see many distributors and manufactures exploiting these tools for B2B purposes. Additionally, we have a significant presence in the fashion and sports industry with clients in the footwear and golf industries; they’re keeping us pretty busy too.

NEOSA: What about the strategy side of an engagement; how does Level7 fit there?

Level7: Great question, we actually fit in at the strategy level a few different ways. Some examples include: agile software development coaching, change management services for enterprise software implementations, package/product selection services and others.

NEOSA: Okay, bonus question time: Randy Lerner just sold the Browns, how does that move the team in its quest for a championship?

Level7: Our new Browns owner has a billion reasons to beat the Steelers!

As I mentioned at the opening, we’re really blessed to have such a diverse set of members, and Level7 represents that diversity in a big way. The company’s growing fast and we’re proud they’re members of our organization.

Go tech!
