Welcome to the COSE Arts Network – a network of professional artists and arts based business owners offering professional development resources, education and networking events, benefits programs and business savings to those in the creative industries.
COSE understands the unique challenge of working creatively every day, while also dealing with the same financial, technical, legal and marketing concerns many other small businesses face. This artist business group aims to ease that burden for creative professionals, so that they have time and energy remaining to do what they do best.
COSE has made its health care and professional development resources even more accessible to the network of professional artists and arts entrepreneurs of Northeast Ohio. The COSE Arts Network is truly an artist business group - a unique collaboration addressing the specific needs of creative professionals in our business community.

The Artist as an Entrepreneur Institute
Founded by CPAC and presented by COSE, the Artist as an Entrepreneur Institute (AEI) is an intensive business course designed for individuals and arts based business owners. This program covers topics that impact an artist’s daily operations from creating a personal brand and marketing, to writing a business plan and accounting.
The 2010 AEI was presented in May at the COSE offices. Forty-six artists and small arts-business owners attended the 24 hours of workshops and presentations. AEI will again be offered in 2011. Please contact the COSE Arts Network for more information on future AEI offerings.
The Artist as an Entrepreneur Institute is supported by Dominion and CPAC with additional support by the Cleveland Foundation, the George Gund Foundation, the Kulas Foundation and the John P. Murphy Foundation.

COSE Arts Network Events
COSE education events are taking an exciting new direction in 2010 - allowing you to choose your business education for a tailored COSE experience. We are still proud to offer workshops created by small business owners for small business owners, but this new format allows you to choose sessions on a particular topic based on your individual level of expertise - be it fundamental (101), intermediate (201), or advanced (301).
Take advantage of all three workshops offered under a certain topic (over a three month period) for a well-rounded experience taking you from start to finish. Or, attend any workshop that meets your current knowledge level and needs! View our online brochure or visit cose.org/events to see what comes next in each series!
The COSE Arts Network also offers a wide range of workshops and networking opportunities for artist entrepreneurs.
