About The Event
A productive, fulfilled workforce was never created out of an Employment Handbook. Rules alone neither encourage accountability nor motivate action. Employee "buy-in" only evolves when the team is working together towards a common goal, with common values. The Handbook should mirror this concept and should uphold the organization's Mission, Vision and Values ("MVV"). Handbooks and job descriptions when developed in response to bona fide business purposes, will almost always withstand scrutiny. More importantly, those policies will garner the support of the workforce. Join us for this interactive webinar as Elizabeth Crosby shares how to create a employee handbook that's right for your business.
1. Attendees will learn that workplace policies should relate to a bona fide job requirement;
2. Attendees will learn that, by creating workplace policies and procedures that reflect the Mission, Vision and Values of the organizations, employees are far more likely to have "buy-in", develop a sense of accountability for their own performance and increase job satisfaction.
3. Attendees will be given a Table of Contents of recommended employment policies AND will learn why those policies are important.
4. Attendees will be given an opportunity to identify workplace policies that are specific to their organization's MVV and will work with the facilitator to create the policy.
