About COSE

COSE, Northeast Ohio’s largest small business support organization, strives to help small businesses grow and maintain their independence.

Born out of the need to get freight through picket lines during a business-crippling trucker’s strike in 1971, COSE is now an organization of more than 17,000 member companies. COSE is most closely identified with providing quality, affordable health insurance benefits for small business owners and their employees - more than 200,000 lives are insured under our sponsored health plans. But that’s not all we do.

COSE has a long history of fighting for the rights of all small business owners, whether it’s through group purchasing programs in healthcare, workers’ compensation, payroll services, office products, shipping or energy, or through advocating for specific changes in legislation or regulation. COSE also produces more than 100 networking and business education events each year - all focused on connecting our members to each other to increase their productivity and sales.

As COSE enters its 36th year, it is positioned more than ever to take charge and fight for small business rights throughout our region, the state and across the nation. (www.cose.org)
