The COSE Electric Savings Program provides great savings on electric generation costs for all COSE and Greater Cleveland Partnership member businesses and their employees. These program provides excellent rates and long-term price certainty for participating businesses.

Electric Savings Program Details
COSE and FirstEnergy Solutions do not charge any fees to enroll in the program, nor are there monthly fees. You simply must be a COSE member. A Participation Fee may be administered to accounts deemed as Large Users based on the estimated savings for their account.
Electric Discount Rates
COSE (the Council of Smaller Enterprises) and FirstEnergy Solutions Corp. (FES) have partnered since 2004 to provide savings opportunities and budget certainty for small business owners. In fact, by working with FES, COSE members have collectively saved more than $6.5 million.
Residential Customers
Residential customers receive a 6% discount off electric generation throughout 2012 (rate code RS). Enroll online or call FirstEnergy Solutions at 1-888-254-6017. Click here for an enrollment form.
Small Commercial Customers
Accounts with total annual usage less than 700,000 kWh on rate codes GS or POL will be enrolled at 5.80 cents/kWh until the May 2014 meter read date. Service to begin on the next available meter read date.
Large Commercial Customers
Large commercial customers receive a no-obligation savings analysis from FirstEnergy Solutions. We will develop a customized savings and pricing proposal for your large commercial accounts (electric bill is greater than $5000 per month).

COSE members will have access to customer care representatives through FirstEnergy Solutions' toll-free inquiry line, 1-888-254-6017. These representatives are dedicated to serving COSE members only.

Ready to Enroll?
Quick and easy online enrollment in the COSE Electric Savings Program is open for COSE member businesses, home-based businesses, and member employees.
However, it is important to determine whether your business and/or home is located in a Northeast Ohio Public Energy Council (NOPEC) community. If you are located in a NOPEC community and did not opt-out or chose another program, submitting an enrollment form for the COSE program could result in a significant NOPEC cancellation fee.
