In 2008, NEOSA launched the CoolTech Challenge, a high school tech competition in which students build and submit websites for the chance to win t-shirts, prizes and college scholarship funds. Since that time, we’ve awarded more than $27,000 in prizes and scholarships.
CoolTech Challenge is a high school tech competition about designing a creative, engaging website that will invite users to return again and again. Winning sites have been submitted from a variety of schools in Northeast Ohio, including Firestone High School, Trinity High School, Kent Roosevelt High School, and others.
CoolTech Challenge is open to all freshmen through senior students. Submitted websites are reviewed by our panel of judges, and winners will receive scholarship funds and other prizes.
