Since 2008, NEOSA has awarded more than $54,000 in prizes and scholarship funds for the CoolTech Challenge, a high school website design competition. Each year, the CoolTech challenge rewards high school students for their designs of the most creative and engaging websites that will encourage return visits. Winning websites have been submitted from teams from high schools across Northeast Ohio, including Firestone, Trinity, Kent Roosevelt, Copley, Mentor, and many others.
The 2013 CoolTech Challenge featured 38 student participants who represented 17 different teams from 6 schools. Winners and finalists were selected by a panel of judges in mid-March. Winning teams and their websites were celebrated at the 7th Annual NEOSA Best of Tech Awards dinner on April 18. Complete details on the CoolTech Challenge are available here.
