DESTINATION CHINA ITINERARY
The itinerary presented here is primarily a leisure tour. A business visit itinerary is being developed as an alternative that will visit the same cities on the same schedule, but include additional business agenda items.
DAY 1 • NEW YORK/BEIJING
Board an afternoon flight by 3:30 p.m. to Beijing. Your adventure begins as you fly trans-Atlantic aboard a wide cabin jetliner and cross the International Dateline.
DAY 2 • BEIJING
Arrive in Beijing, the Capital of China, at 6 p.m. You will be met by your local tour guide at the airport. Transfer to the hotel after dinner.
DAY 3 • BEIJING
Visit the Tian An Men Square, the largest square in the world, and the Temple of Heaven. Sightseeing includes the Palace Museum, also known as the Forbidden City, and the Summer Palace.
DAY 4 • BEIJING
Excursion to the Great Wall. The 4,000-mile long and 2,000-year-old construction is said to be the only man-made structure visible by naked eye from the moon. Visit to the Ming Tombs before dining on a Roasted Beijing Duck Dinner.
DAY 5 • BEIJING/SHANGHAI/SUZHOU
Spend the morning in Beijing and the afternoon sightseeing in Shanghai and Suzhou to including the
Lingering Garden, Tiger Hill, Hanshan Temple, and the National Embroidery Institute. Enjoy an evening dinner show with traditional Chinese music.
DAY 6 • SUZHOU/HANGZHOU
Morning tour bus journey to Hangzhou to visit the Economic Development Zone and the centuries old Lingyin Temple.
DAY 7 • HANGZHOU/SHANGHAI
Morning boat cruise on West Laske with relaxing stopover at jewel-like pagodas and tea houses.
Afternoon tour bus trip to Shanghai.
DAY 8 • SHANGHAI
Sightseeing includes the Yu Garden, a maze of marvelous pavilions, ponds, rocky works and overarching Trees. Visit to the Bund, a famous waterfront park. Business visits to the Pudong Economic
Development Zone.
DAY 9 • SHANGHAI/BEIJING/NEW YORK
Morning flight to Beijing from Shanghai. Afternoon flight will depart by 1 p.m. for JFK.
