About: I graduated from Cleveland State in Mass Media Communications but my first love was always medicine. (I didn’t have enough money or time or smarts to become a doctor.) I loved film and wanted to produce films for medical purposes. I was able to get a job right out of college producing nursing education videos for Fairview General Hospital. I wrote and produced the videos by hiring outside production facilities. It was in this process that I met Neil McCormick who was to become my partner in buying Cinecraft and my husband (all in the same year, 1986.)
Connect: We produce video, multi-media, interactive websites, e-learning, etc for corporate purposes. Everything we design is created to meet a business need.
Advice: Artists who want to work in business need to shelve their ego and listen to what the customer wants. If it’s fit for the customer’s purpose, it doesn’t matter if every piece is an award winner. What matters is that the customer is happy with the both the process and the end result.
