There are many questions and concerns relative to the health insurance market and its impact on small businesses and individuals. As an organization that has been a leader in providing affordable health insurance to COSE members for decades, it is critical for us to understand and prepare for possible changes for years to come. Therefore, COSE has embarked into a Scenario Planning initiative. This is a progressive and innovative modeling technique that will provide us with various potential “futures” of health care in the foreseeable future. Scenario Planning is an effective tool that has been successfully deployed in various markets including education, energy and geographic economies.
With the results of our Health Care Scenario Planning study complete, we are confident that we will gain the critical insights needed to prepare us, and ultimately our members, for the future.
